Vehicle monitoring systems and fuel level sensors are solutions dictated by a rational approach in agribusiness. Fuel level sensors by Mielta Technology equipped with self-diagnostic systems come to the aid of those who want to keep the costs of the fleet under control.
The desire to "cheat" the fuel level sensor finds many ways: shielding, mechanical damage to the equipment, changing fuel composition, etc. Modern telematics systems by Mielta Technologies are programmed to detect and give prompt alarm about attempts to disable the sensor.
The sensor case has a built-in shielding sensor that "senses" the approach of metal objects to the case and attempts to cover it. The device records the date and time of the attempted vandalism, as well as the duration of the "disorientation" period of the sensor.
The unique system of self-diagnostics allows finding out remotely the reason of incorrect data transmission (wrong calibration, change of fuel properties and composition). The sensor is protected from attempts of vandalism by a prompt notification in the form of a code containing the type of error and the value of the deviation. The data are stored in the memory of the device and are transmitted to the tracker via the Mielta protocol.
The Mielta Fantom sensor is not strictly legible and is suitable for different types of fuel: petrol, eco-fuel, diesel.
