D: Temperature fluctuations due to the expansion of the liquid provoke changes in the level of fuel in the tank, which are displayed on the graph in the monitoring system with characteristic “jumps”. To avoid fair questions regarding the operation of measuring devices, we have implemented a temperature compensation mode in fuel level sensors.

Thanks to this, it is possible to avoid errors and inaccuracies of readings?

D: Temperature compensation mode eliminates the meter's dependence on temperature. In other words, if the volume of fuel increases as the temperature rises, the sensor records the changes. The heating of the components of the sensor's measuring system is leveled out due to the temperature compensation mode.

Tell us more about those “responsible” for thermal compensation? To whom do we owe the objectivity of the data?

D: The design of the device provides for 2 measuring channels. One of which (reference) measures the internal capacity, depending on its own temperature, and the second – capacity, proportional to the fuel level in the tank. In this case, in the process of issuing the fuel level value, temperature compensation occurs using the reference channel. This way the problem of reducing the temperature effect on the FLS readings is solved.

Is it possible to say that thermal compensation is an option for controlling flexible adjustment of the fuel level sensor to changes in the environment?

D: In Mielta Technologies fuel level sensors, the temperature compensation mode operates by default. Unlike analogues, we implement this function at the hardware and software level in automatic mode, which eliminates the need for constant monitoring and human participation in setting up the sensor.
